1st International Exhibition

The Holy Art Gallery - Amsterdam

From September 5 to 8, 2024, I experienced one of the most significant moments of my artistic journey: my first international exhibition, at The Holy Art Gallery in Amsterdam.

It was a mix of excitement and nervousness, as presenting one of my works outside Portugal, before such a diverse audience, was a dream finally coming true. When I received the news of my selection, it was hard to believe what was happening.

Amsterdam, with its welcoming atmosphere and creative energy, proved to be the perfect setting for this debut. Seeing my canvas exhibited among works by international artists was a source of immense pride. That piece carried a part of me — my deepest emotions and my path of self-discovery, which, despite its challenges, had led me to that moment.

The reactions I received were incredible. Realizing that people from such different cultural and personal backgrounds could connect with the essence of what I express was deeply moving. That silent dialogue between my work and the visitors is something I will carry with me forever.

More than just a milestone in my career, this exhibition was proof that art transcends barriers, uniting us through the emotions we share. It was also one of the most challenging experiences I have ever lived, as it opened a new path, demanding perseverance until the very last second — and for that alone, it was worth every moment.

I left Amsterdam with a full heart, renewed motivation, and the certainty that this artistic journey is, indeed, my passion.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported me along the way — those who gave me strength, those who inspired me not to give up on my dreams, and above all, those who always stood by my side in this adventure.
